Nerina who once was a simple farm girl, and then following a fateful encounter with Cell of the Shi'et Monks set off down a path that would lead her to many places, a family not of her blood a husband high among the D'annai; a race of magical beings infamous for their skils in battle and their fierce and often brutal loyalty. Finally Nerina having being baptised by fire and blood came to the King of the three lands, the High King of Antarrel, who having been told of her coming bestows upon her the title of Rose Captain.

No sooner does she put on her armour than the Pinnacle launches a counterattack to the stroke dealt by her, Cell and Jin and a small army of mountain Giants in a failed attempt to rescue Cells brother Jarrel before he can complete the transformation from mortal to Demon, an attack that ultimately failed. Jarrel was not recovered, but neither did he become a demon born of torture and malice...

SHE IS DONE!!!!

Finally, my gods I started this back on the second of october, two bloody months ago, I reckon in those months shes totalled around 50-60 hours of my life, she owes me big, but in painting this I have managed to build up almost all of her history and future deeds, this incarnation of her in the Rose Captain armour is from very late on in the story she a major part of...

Le sigh...

When I dealt that final brush stroke a few hours ago I went completely numb, both physically and emotionally, it was a odd sensation not plesant but not unpleasant, it was as if finally finishing her had drained all my reserves, after all I have poured my heart and soul into this piece, I personally love it (how about you?)
